Nautical Marquetry Table

This serpentine table is an interpretation of a period piece in the Federal style. I modernized and embellished it with a nautical theme to celebrate my time as a Navy sailor. The anchors frame the piece, banding resembles the twisting lay of rope, and the center compass rose inlay is set into a walnut burl, reminiscent of a nautical map.
